Difference between Amulet and Talisman
Talisman
A talisman is a unique piece for a unique individual; It is personal and non-transferable. That is, the talisman is usually made with noble metals and precious or semi-precious stones, and in addition, it is designed, structured and manufactured based on very specific prior knowledge of the person who will carry it with them.
That is, if a person has a marked lack of good luck in the workplace, their astrological chart, their date and time of birth, their stones, their metals and the phase of their planets will be studied to make a talisman, which when take with you, you will be able to harmonize all these factors to restore the aforementioned deficiency.
Thus, the making of a talisman is not trivial. Rather, it is something quite complicated to do, not so much when it comes to manual assembly itself, but above all due to the prior studies of the individual who will be its wearer.
Obviously, while in the amulet we wanted something and we were at the mercy of whether its power took effect or not; In the talisman the operation is different, there is a prior empirical study, objective data and historical evidence that demonstrate that some people are more similar than others to certain phases of the moon and/or the planets, metals, stones, energies, etc…
Amulet
An amulet can be anything, any object in which we have placed our trust and our energies to achieve a specific purpose; and this applies from the «rabbit’s foot» to the earrings «from my great-aunt Rodolfa» that when I wear them I attract lovers…
That is to say, in general we have a series of objects that serve as a «crutch» to achieve the desired goal, and that are known by everyone. Examples would be the four-leaf clover, the horseshoe, the elephant figure, etc…, and on a personal level we would have our own amulets, often created by ourselves, such as «this shirt makes me lucky», «this chain protects me», etc…, and other times they would be «inherited» objects or lent by third parties.
The only thing needed for an amulet to work is to charge it with the energy we want to project, «insert» our intention, and have faith.
The use of amulets is as old as the human race, since from the beginning it found in amulets a spiritual (and mental) support point to achieve its goals or to get rid of evils.
As amulets we could also have our respective magical stones of the zodiac or our magical metals.
