Always, when you buy an amulet, before using it, the first thing you have to do is wash it to remove all the bad influences that it could carry.
Ways to wash an amulet and how the maintenance is
Basic cleaning
Ingredients: a clay container, water and a handful of salt
Preparation: mix the water and salt in the container. Immerse the amulet or talisman in the water. Leave it there for a whole day.
Cleansing with incense
Ingredients: sandalwood or rue incense
Preparation: expose the amulet to incense smoke asking it to get rid of all the bad things. Pray an Our Father and a Hail Mary.
Cleaning with essences
Ingredients: rue essence or sandalwood essence, a clay container, water.
Preparation: fill the container with water and add 7 drops of rue or sandalwood essence. Immerse the amulet or talisman for a whole day.
Once you have washed the amulet you have to charge it again with energy to help you achieve your purpose.
